The hospitality managers are responsible for all tapping points at the various sections of the UIT. You take care of the construction, operation, provisioning and dismantling of these taps. At times this is hard work, but above all it is an incredibly fun week where you get to know your team very well and work together to make the UIT the best it can be.
Are you...
A real hospitality tiger?
A hard worker?
Someone who does enjoy a party?
- Someone who can lead?
What are the requirements?
As a hospitality manager, it is important that you are a go-getter! Hospitality experience is a
requirement. It is also important that you are available full-time during the UIT. You are also expected to help out behind the scenes with the team of hospitality managers for the UIT.
In the week before the UIT you will have a mandatory crew day with all other crew members, catering managers and the event managers. During this day you will receive information about the tasks and what exactly is expected of you during the UIT. Besides the informative part, the main focus of this day will be to create a team bond between all crew members. Through fun activities we will make sure that you as a group are ready for the UIT and will function optimally.
You can only become a hospitality manager if you study in the Netherlands and are 18 years or older during the UIT. It is an advantage that you can sleep in Utrecht during the UIT.
What do I get in return?
As a hospitality manager, you will be working in a small, close-knit team doing a very important job during the UIT. It is a challenging position with a lot of independence and personal responsibility. As a result, you will gain experience running your own taps, and get a unique behind-the-scenes look at the UIT!
You also get access to all activities of the UIT, free meals, tokens for drinks, your unique hospitality manager outfit, various crew activities, crew reunions and, of course, lots of appreciation!
