UITband

Registration for the UIT Band is now open! See the bottom of the page to find out how to sign up!

Every year, a new UIT song is written that every UIT runner will recognize for the rest of their student life. This song is specially written for the theme of the UIT and is played several times during the UIT in addition to the UIT Band's own repertoire. So this is the time for emerging bands to reach a large audience!

Are you and your band looking for a new UIT challenge? The UIT is looking for musicians who can play the stars from the sky. There are multiple opportunities for you to share your musical talent with a great group of up-and-coming students.

The UIT Band writes the official UIT song (click here for songs from 2022 , 2023, 2025 and last year, 2026). In addition to this, you will get multiple bookings during the UIT such as for example at the opening party, markets and festival. Furthermore, we offer a reach of about 3500 UIT runners, crew and mentors! Also, your song will be played throughout the week at the association market, for example. So this is the time for emerging bands to reach a large audience!
