The UIT is Utrecht's largest student event, with 4,000 incoming students and 800 senior year volunteers. It is the official introduction week of Utrecht University (UU), Utrecht University of Applied Sciences (HU) and six other educational institutions. The UIT introduces new first-year students to the city of Utrecht, companies in Utrecht, studying, fellow students, associations, student organizations and everything else student life has to offer. Some 10,000 students are involved in this event; the UIT counts as the overall kick-off of the academic year!
There are many promotional opportunities for your company during the UIT. For example, we organize an information market and city walk where you can take a physical stand. Here you can then make direct contact with the UIT runners. You can also put a flyer or gadget in the bags of the UITlopers and volunteers. There are also many online opportunities to get in touch with new students in Utrecht. For example, we use an app and a website in which various advertisements can be placed. The UIT can do a lot for your business:
- You will be in contact with RUIM 4000 (future) students
- Students (average age 18) have not yet developed brand loyalty.
- You will connect with 800 senior students (between 18 and 25 years old), who volunteer to join the organization out of enthusiasm for the UIT
- The UIT is the first introduction to Utrecht for the new students. During this week they make choices between friends, associations and companies.
- The UIT offers various promotional opportunities that allow you to promote your company on a specific profile in a unique an innovative way. For example, consider our app, social media or participating in a program component.
- The UIT is receiving much attention from regional and national press.
- Your company will be connected to the professional organizations: Univesity Utrecht and HogeSchool Utrecht.
- You can be an addition to the sustainability of the event.
